IMS & SUM Hospital and SigmaMozak establish a framework for healthcare research and medical education

IMS & SUM Hospital, SOA Deemed to be University, and SigmaMozak Solutions have signed an MoU to collaborate on healthcare research and medical education, with an initial focus on AI-enabled clinical communication training for undergraduate medical students.

The Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, faculty of medicine of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University, and SigmaMozak Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a framework for interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare research and medical education.

The collaboration encompasses healthcare research, digital health, medical education, communication science, AI-enabled healthcare systems, and public health innovation. The partners will explore joint research, educational initiatives, workshops, publications, and other mutually agreed activities.

An initial area of focus is the practical implementation of clinical communication training for undergraduate medical students. As part of this collaboration, the organizations are introducing ConversationAIly, an AI-powered communication training platform designed to support simulated patient interactions and structured learning, complementing the existing AETCOM curriculum.

The partnership reflects a shared interest in connecting academic expertise with technology-enabled approaches to healthcare education, research, and innovation.
